Bachelor in Neuroscience — UC3M

How do brains process information, shape behaviour and respond to change? UC3M’s English-taught Neuroscience degree gives scientifically curious students a way into these questions, combining biological understanding with quantitative tools.

What you will explore

Early study includes genetics, chemistry, biophysics, mathematics and biostatistics. The curriculum develops towards subjects such as neurophysiology, neuroanatomy, programming and human psychology. It is a broad scientific foundation for exploring the nervous system, rather than a course confined to one approach.

If you enjoy biology but also want to develop analytical skills, compare the modules carefully. Think about which projects you would like to try: investigating a biological mechanism, working with experimental data or exploring connections between brain science and technology.

Studying in English

The university states that classes, exercises and examinations are in English. Students must establish B2 English during their first year. Build confidence with scientific reading as well as everyday conversation before the course begins.

Applications and budgeting

UC3M’s international admissions page separates routes by previous educational background and links to general and early admission. Use the route that matches your qualifications.

Compare the standard tuition schedule with the non-EU fee guidance; the difference can substantially affect your budget. Getafe, not Leganés, is the campus for this programme. Our Spain guide helps you plan living costs alongside tuition.
