Investigate the scientific questions behind flight and space technology. UC3M’s English-taught MAST has a research emphasis and is distinct from its Space Engineering master’s.
Research and curriculum
Areas include flight dynamics, propulsion, space systems, computational fluid dynamics and experimental methods. Thirty compulsory credits, 18 electives and a 12-credit thesis combine breadth with focused investigation.
Is it for you?
Aerospace engineering is the main entry background. Related degrees may be considered with additional preparation. Consult the official admissions and English-language requirements.
Building on the experience
The programme is designed with doctoral study and aerospace R&D in mind. Consider whether you most enjoy computation, experiments or physical modelling when comparing its research opportunities.
