What you will learn

The programme covers modern physics, chemistry and biology in connection with areas such as nanotechnology, quantum technology and biomaterials. Students work in small-group laboratory sessions. The published curriculum includes a 12-credit thesis and an optional professional internship, giving different ways to apply the theoretical work.

Who it may suit

It may suit you if you enjoy understanding why materials and systems behave as they do, then using that understanding to solve technical problems. The course can be a foundation for research-focused postgraduate study or work involving advanced technology, with later choices helping you develop a particular direction.
