The Barcelona School of Informatics (FIB) offers the Data Science master’s, while Cybersecurity involves FIB and the Barcelona School of Telecommunications Engineering (ETSETB). Both are delivered face to face. Their different lengths give you a useful comparison: one year for Cybersecurity and two for Data Science.
Think about what you would like to spend time investigating. Do you enjoy discovering patterns, building reliable data systems or understanding how applications can be protected? Look at the modules and final project alongside the degree title to find the closest match.
