Lernen und Erfahrung
The curriculum includes statistics and data analysis, an introduction to the physics of the cosmos and a 12-credit dissertation. Specialisation options distinguish high-energy physics from astrophysics and cosmology. The university connects the course with its IFAE–ICE–UAB research environment.
Who it may suit
Consider it if you enjoy mathematical explanations of physical phenomena and want experience preparing an independent research question. It offers a foundation for further research training, with the dissertation helping clarify your particular interests.
Admission and intake
Physics and astronomy graduates are a natural fit; related quantitative and scientific degrees can be considered. B2 English is required. Additional preparation may be assigned to applicants from other backgrounds, and UAB notes that this can affect study duration.
