Learning and possibilities
The curriculum explores modelling, optimisation and computation, with directions including industrial mathematics, artificial intelligence and financial mathematics. A final project gives students a chance to bring their learning together.
This could suit you if you enjoy asking why a method works as much as finding an answer. When comparing programmes, look at the balance between mathematical theory, coding and applied projects. Think about whether you would enjoy testing assumptions, explaining a model’s limitations and improving a solution after feedback.
Antragstellung
IE assesses academic preparation and English alongside its admissions process. Applicants use the university’s admissions test or accepted alternatives such as SAT or ACT; science programmes also have a mathematics assessment. The school qualification and subject requirements depend on your education system, so use IE’s applicant guidance for your background.
Choosing a campus and budget
Check which campus sequence you are applying for before arranging housing. If you choose the Segovia–Madrid route, include the later move in your plans. Our study in Spain guide covers living expenses and arrival planning.
