Why do people make the choices they do? IE University’s Bachelor in Behavior and Social Sciences explores that question through a combination of human behaviour, research and analysis. It is taught in English and offers different campus routes.

From observation to investigation
Students develop qualitative and quantitative research skills, with observation, experimentation and statistics among the foundations. The programme describes practical projects and a Behavior Lab in which students work on problems involving businesses, public bodies or non-profit organisations.
IE identifies experience design and talent development among its elective directions. These can offer different ways to apply an interest in people: understanding an experience from a customer’s perspective, for example, or exploring how teams learn and develop.
When comparing courses, ask yourself whether you enjoy gathering evidence about behaviour as much as discussing it. Reading a study and thinking about how you would test its conclusions can be a useful introduction to this kind of learning.
Choosing your campus route
The published options are four years in Madrid, or a first year in Segovia followed by three in Madrid. Consider which start would suit you, and include the possible move when comparing accommodation and living costs.
Fees and planning
The fee shown above is IE’s published first-year baseline for 2026/27. Its admissions and fees page explains that subsequent tuition is adjusted annually. Build a four-year plan that includes living expenses and room for changes in costs.
Our Spain guide covers the wider preparations for studying abroad.
Applying for the next intake
Applications follow admission rounds, each with a deadline. Read the official admissions information for the round you want to enter, including the requested academic evidence and assessment steps. A useful starting point for your application is a clear explanation of the questions about people that interest you.
