Develop the quantitative tools economists use to understand households, firms and policy. This English-taught master’s combines a common foundation with room to follow your interests.
Inside the course
Six core courses cover microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics. Three electives and a six-credit supervised thesis let you pursue topics such as market regulation or data analysis.
Who it suits
Applicants need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Economics, mathematics, engineering and suitably prepared social-science graduates are among the intended backgrounds. Check UC3M’s English requirements.
Possible next steps
The training is relevant to economic analysis in public organisations, consulting and business, as well as further research. Think about which economic questions you would enjoy investigating before choosing electives.
