What you will learn
Topics include marine biodiversity, food webs, environmental change, impact assessment and coastal management. The study plan includes fieldwork, an 18-ECTS internship and a 12-ECTS dissertation.
Those practical elements are worth exploring in an admissions conversation. Ask what kinds of internship settings and recent dissertation topics are available, then think about whether you most enjoy collecting observations, analysing data or turning evidence into management decisions. Your answer can help you shape the experience around your interests.
Admission and timing
The programme welcomes backgrounds including biology, biotechnology, environmental science, marine science, chemistry and geology. Applicants from other disciplines may be considered with relevant postgraduate preparation. See the official requirements and study plan 和 application calendar.
Budgeting for Oviedo
"(《世界人权宣言》) 2026–27 university fee guidance links the price decree and explains tuition exemptions. Eligibility matters: this is not automatically a tuition-free course for every student. Ask the university for the amount that applies to your circumstances.
Teaching is based in Oviedo, so plan housing around the Faculty of Biology rather than assuming you will live at a coastal field site. Our 西班牙学习指南 can help with living costs and arrival planning. Official sources reviewed on 21 October 2026.
