Learning and experience
The programme combines applied mathematics and empirical statistical methods, with a choice between finance and public-policy study. Its focus is on using economic reasoning in practical situations rather than simply surveying business functions.
Who it may suit
This may suit a graduate who enjoys working with evidence and wants to move towards economic analysis, consulting interests or more advanced research. Compare the finance and policy options against the types of questions you most want to answer.
Admission and intake
Economics and business degrees are preferred, while relevant quantitative qualifications can also be considered. The admissions page asks for certified B2 English and values preparation in statistics, calculus and linear algebra.
