Learning how the systems work together

De curriculum includes vehicle electrical architecture, automotive software, energy storage, motor control and laboratory work. A six-credit internship and 15-credit thesis give you space to connect the taught material with a longer practical investigation.

This could suit someone who enjoys understanding the whole system as well as individual components. When comparing programmes, think about whether you most want to develop software, investigate power electronics or work on energy conversion.

How the blended format works

URV’s teaching arrangements describe an online first semester with in-person examinations in January. The second semester includes weekly attendance, and laboratories and placements take place in person. Plan your travel and accommodation around those commitments.

Applying and preparing

De admissions page welcomes several engineering backgrounds and requires B2 English. Depending on your previous modules, bridging study may be needed.

The next announced application opening is March 2027. Use the published 2026/27 fees as a reference while waiting for the next year’s figures. Our Spain guide can help you plan living costs alongside tuition.
