Follow the questions that interest you

The programme offers a choice of subjects across areas including microeconomics, macroeconomics, applied economics and management. The current study plan includes econometrics, behavioural economics and game theory, alongside an eight-credit dissertation.

That range makes it useful to think about your interests before choosing modules. You might want to investigate a public policy, understand how firms compete or use data to examine a social question. Look for a combination of theory and methods that helps you move from an interesting idea to an answer you can explain.

Background and language

UGR recommends degrees in economics, management or related fields. Its admissions page asks for at least B1 English or qualifying evidence of previous education in English, with specified exemptions. Teaching is entirely in English; everyday Spanish is recommended for life outside class.
