学ぶこと
The programme combines statistical analysis with study of social inequalities, demographic change, welfare policy, family and gender. A 20-credit thesis gives you time to investigate a question in depth and develop a clear argument from evidence.
Could this course suit you?
Consider this course if you want to move from noticing social patterns to understanding how to investigate them. You might enjoy developing research skills for further study or work involving policy and social analysis. Bring a question you care about, while staying open to what the evidence might reveal.
申請
Applicants provide a degree or evidence of expected completion, academic records, an English CV, a motivation letter and two references. UPF asks for B2 English, with an exemption request possible for native speakers or previous study in English. If your background is outside the social sciences, use the motivation letter to explain your interest in changing direction.
