Learning with a research community
The programme draws on UPF’s Center for Brain and Cognition, whose interests include computational and cognitive neuroscience, language, vision, perception and development. Students join a research line for their final project.
It could suit someone who enjoys turning a broad question into an experiment or analysis. Explore the research groups before applying and consider which methods you would like to practise. Reading a recent paper can also give you something concrete to discuss with a potential supervisor.

UPF accepts applications from graduates across academic fields. The published requirements include a qualifying university degree, transcript, an English CV, a 600–800-word motivation letter, two recommendations and B2 English evidence or an approved exemption. Research interests and preparation matter when explaining why the course fits your plans.

The course runs from September to June, with full-time and part-time study options. Check the next application round directly with UPF.
