What you will learn
Students begin with engineering foundations including mathematics, physics, materials and fluid mechanics. The programme then develops areas such as aerodynamics, propulsion, flight dynamics and aircraft design. UC3M offers pathways in aerospace vehicles and aerospace propulsion, and describes an opportunity for an industry internship in the final year.
Think about which part of an engineering problem attracts you most. You might enjoy understanding forces, testing a design or working through the trade-offs between weight, performance and reliability. Looking at the module descriptions can help you connect those interests to the course.
Studying in English
Teaching and assessment are entirely in English. UC3M requires students to establish B2 English proficiency during the first year through its accepted routes. If you are comfortable with everyday English but less familiar with scientific vocabulary, allow time to practise reading and explaining technical ideas.
